Quick Start Guide

How to Play

Five simple steps and you're on the hunt.

Set the Game

Use the four boundary markers to mark out your
treasure zone, about 5 m x 5 m, or whatever space you have available. The Seeker gets the detector and treasure bag ready.

Hide the Treasure

One player is the Hider, the other the Seeker. The Hider buries the nine treasures just below the surface (about 2 cm deep) or hides them in long grass, marking each spot on the treasure map.
No peeking!

Find and Beep

Start the clock. The Seeker has 10 minutes to sweep the treasure zone with the GECKO detector.
When it beeps, treasure is close.

Dig and Discover

Use the mini shovel or hands to carefully uncover each find, then place it in the treasure bag.

Score and Repeat

Keep hunting until time runs out or all nine treasures are found. Total the points on the scorecard, then swap roles and hide the treasures somewhere new.

Scoring

Each treasure carries a different point value, from 1 point up to 9 points.
