1) What is GOLDFIELDS OF FORTUNE?

GOLDFIELDS OF FORTUNE is a one-day Minelab gold-detecting event where eligible participants hunt for real gold.

2) Who can participate?

Participation is limited to eligible GOLD MONSTER 2000™ owners who are 18 years or older and legal residents of the United States (excluding New York and Florida) or Canada (excluding Quebec). Minelab employees and partners are not eligible to participate.

3) When and where does the event take place?

The event takes place on Friday, March 27, 2026, near Las Vegas, Nevada. The exact location will be shared with registered participants 24 hours before the event.

4) How do I enter and what is the deadline?

To participate, you must register using the official event link by March 24, 2026.

5) Where in Las Vegas should I book my lodging?

We recommend looking for lodging in more southern areas of Las Vegas, such as near the airport, Enterprise, Green Valley, Anthem and the western side of Henderson. 

6) Do I need a special type of vehicle to reach the event site? 

No, any vehicle will suffice to get you to the event site but please note there is no public transportation. We highly suggest renting a vehicle if you are not local.

7) When will I know the event location?

You will receive an email with the event site location and additional event information 24 hours prior to the event. 

8) What time should I plan to arrive? 

Check in will begin at 9:00 AM.  

9) What will be available onsite?  

Water will be available for participants. A food truck will also be available for purchases.
